Ian Wright admits he was \u2018disappointed\u2019 with Jakub Kiwior after the Arsenal star struggled to cope against Bayern Munich\u2019s Leroy Sane.<\/p>\n

Arsenal played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with Bayern in the first-leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Though the Gunners were the better side overall, they struggled to deal with the visitors\u2019 speed and trickery, with blistering counter-attacks leading to both of their goals.<\/p>\n

Sane himself had a great game, with Harry Kane scoring from the penalty spot after the winger was fouled in the box by William Saliba.<\/p>\n

Kiwior was the one tasked with dealing with the former Manchester City star, a job which he failed to do, with Sane causing him constant problems until the defender was eventually subbed off at half-time for Oleksandr Zinchenko.<\/p>\n

\u2018Kiwior was getting cooked by f***ing Sane, let\u2019s have that right. He was scared of him,\u2019 Arsenal legend Wright said after the game on the Wrighty\u2019s House podcast.<\/p>\n

\u2018I was a little bit disappointed with Kiwior. He was stuck between, \u201cDo I go all the way in or do I drop off of him\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u2018Act like you\u2019re going to get tight then drop off, let him get the touch so then he\u2019s either going to have to knock it past you and you\u2019ve got half a chance of getting something on it\u2026 or f***ing foul him!\u2019<\/p>\n

Despite his brilliant performance, Sane was subbed off after 66 minutes and replaced by Kingsley Coman, a decision that left the Germany international \u2018disappointed\u2019.<\/p>\n

Conversely, Wright said: \u2018I was delighted to see Sane go off. I thought it was a poor substitution, I would not have taken Sane off.<\/p>\n
