Photo Credit: Eric Wainwright.<\/small><\/em><\/p>\n Isaiah Smith is a social influencer, registered nurse, and an online fitness trainer.<\/p>\n He spoke about being a part of the digital age and opened up about his motivations and furnished his advice for young and aspiring social influencers.<\/p>\n Samuel Johnson once said: \u201cGreat works are performed not by strength but by perseverance.\u201d This quote applies to Isaiah Smith, RN.<\/p>\n In addition, Smith will be competing for \u201cMister USA 2024,\u201d which will be held in Hollywood on August 11, where he will be representing the state of California. The winner from that competition will represent USA at the \u201cMister Universe\u201d competition on September 28 at The Biltmore in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n On being a part of this competition, he remarked, \u201cI feel a lot of emotions. At first I didn\u2019t know what to expect, but I really like this opportunity, and I am very grateful. This opportunity humbles me. I feel honored and blessed to represent the great state of California. I love my home state. I am excited for what is to come.\u201d<\/p>\n On being a social influencer in the digital age, Smith said, \u201cIt feels awesome and a little unreal. I always wanted to be influential but now that it has become more of a reality, it has been awesome. That has always been my mission\u2026 to help people. It feels pretty nice.\u201d<\/p>\n Each day, he is motivated by his family and his loved ones. \u201cIt is the adverse times that make us stronger,\u201d he acknowledged.<\/p>\n In his personal life, he is married to his wife Soni, and he is a father to two children (a boy and a girl).<\/p>\n On his future plans, Smith said, \u201cRight now, I am doing my online personal training business, and then, I am currently scaling that by hiring more employees and assistant coaches.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBasically, I want to do something that I love and help people at the same time and create something that will benefit my family as well,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n He reiterated that it has been the adverse and \u201crock bottom\u201d times that molded him into the man that he is today. Unfortunately, he got a DUI once in his life and that isolated many of his friends and made him feel alone; however, he was able to make his \u201clowest low\u201d into the \u201cbest thing\u201d that could ever happen to him. \u201cThat was a tough challenge, but it all worked out,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cWhere I am today, I wouldn\u2019t trade it for the world,\u201d he acknowledged.<\/p>\n Ever since, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and he is a registered nurse. \u201cI love being in a helping profession,\u201d he admitted.<\/p>\n Smith shared that he classifies walking as \u201ca form of exercise.\u201d \u201cDepending on who you are, walking is exercise, for sure,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n For young and aspiring social influencers, he said, \u201cStay true to you; don\u2019t sacrifice what you believe to do what is trending. Be around people that want to support you, and hang onto that.\u201d<\/p>\n On the title of the current chapter of his life, he said with a sweet laugh, \u201cMessy.\u201d \u201cHonestly, my life is \u2018Under Construction\u2019 right now,\u201d he said. \u201cI am still getting to where I want to be. The title of my chapter is TBD\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n Smith had great words about veteran radio personality Steven Cuoco. \u201cSteven is a true professional. On multiple occasions, Cuoco has had my back, and I really value that and I respect him,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n If he were to do any track and field event, it would be \u201cshot put,\u201d especially since he enjoys root strengths. In swimming, he listed the freestyle as his personal favorite stroke.<\/p>\n Smith listed \u201csuperstrength\u201d as his superpower of choice, since it would allow him to lift many heavy things. \u201cThat would be so cool,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n Smith defined the word success as his wife and kids being financially stable, all while providing for his immediate family. \u201cSuccess means being able to take care of my own, and being able to give back to anyone who has made a difference in my life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n For his fans and followers, Smith concluded, \u201cI am so grateful.
