Even though the console is just slightly larger than the PS5 Slim\u2019s motherboard, it still boasts an internal power supply unit.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-177566\"\/><br \/><iframe title=\"Shrinking the PlayStation 5\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uUkn_y73U_M?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>As for the case, it was 3D-printed because in addition to the new 250W HDPlex GaN PSU, NFC needed to replace the original cooling system with  an Alpenf\u00f6hn Black Ridge heatsink and Noctua Chromax 120mm fan. Now the most time intensive part of this build might have been the external disc drive, since it needs to be connected directly to the PS5 motherboard to function properly.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.techeblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/27001922\/not-from-concentrate-mini-playstation-5-console-2.jpg\" alt=\"Not from Concetrate Mini PlayStation 5 Console\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\"\/><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Pushing the boundaries of small form factor computing and design is our passion at NFC, and we are always excited to share our creations with you.
