{"id":7800,"date":"2024-05-07T10:22:02","date_gmt":"2024-05-07T10:22:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/internationalpulse.net\/?p=7800"},"modified":"2024-05-07T10:22:02","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T10:22:02","slug":"skeletons-missing-hands-and-feet-found-at-hitlers-former-headquarters-in-poland-but-cause-of-death-remains-a-mystery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/internationalpulse.net\/?p=7800","title":{"rendered":"Skeletons missing hands and feet found at Hitler&#8217;s former headquarters in Poland \u2014 but cause of death remains a mystery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<p>Polish prosecutors have discontinued an investigation into human skeletons found at a site where German dictator <span class=\"link\">Adolf Hitler<\/span> and other Nazi leaders spent time during World War II because the advanced state of decay made it impossible to determine the cause of death, a spokesman said Monday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The remains were found Feb. 24 at <span class=\"link\">Wolf&#8217;s Lair<\/span>, which served as Hitler&#8217;s chief headquarters from 1941-44 when the area was part of Germany. The compound of about 200 Nazi bunkers and military barracks hidden in deep woods was the site of the failed assassination attempt on Hitler by Col. Claus Stauffenberg on July 20, 1944. <\/p>\n<p>The spokesman for the prosecutor&#8217;s office in nearby Ketrzyn town, Daniel Brodowski, said police officers secured the remains after they were found by a local group, Latebra, which searches for historical objects.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"newsletter_signup \">\n<figure class=\"embed embed--type-newsletter-widget embed--float-none embed--size-large embed--type-iframe\" data-ads=\"{\" wordcount=\"\">\n<\/figure>\n<\/aside>\n<p>A forensic medical expert examined them under the supervision of the prosecutor&#8217;s office, which was trying to determine if manslaughter had occurred. We didn&#8217;t know what we were dealing with at all. Were they some occult rituals of Third Reich fanatics?
