Jurgen Klopp has dismissed speculation over Darwin Nunez\u2019s future at Liverpool after reports linked the Uruguayan with a shock move away from Anfield.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season\u00a0but has come under fire from pundits and Liverpool supporters due to his inconsistency in front of goal.<\/p>\n

Nunez, who was signed in an \u00a385million deal from Benfica in June 2022, still has four years remaining on his contract with Liverpool\u00a0but has been linked with a shock move away from the club, with Barcelona reportedly interested.<\/p>\n

Such talk only intensified after the striker removed all photos relating to the club<\/strong> from his Instagram account<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

However, Klopp rubbished claims that Nunez was looking to move in the summer and insisted the striker is just frustrated with his recent fortunes in front of goal.<\/p>\n

\u2018There is no speculation,\u2019 the German said at his pre-match press conference ahead of his last home Premier League game against Aston Villa.<\/p>\n

\u2018That must be external because I don\u2019t know about it. I\u2019m not involved in that anymore, it\u2019s just the situation we\u2019re in.<\/p>\n

\u2018He was definitely not happy missing that chance. He\u2019s unlucky in so many situations where he does everything right and the ball doesn\u2019t go in.<\/p>\n
