Despite boasting a top speed of 206 mph, it only cost a fraction of the F40, or between $36,000 \u2013 $62,000, depending on the configuration.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-178799\"\/><br \/><iframe title=\"Pontiac Tojan: 800hp American Supercar | Carfection\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DRnGeGpmYZY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>Unfortunately, only the prototype came equipped with the 800hp engine, as most had a L98 5.7L V8 generating 205 hp. As for a 0-60 mph time, the standard model is reported to clock in at a slightly disappointing 9.2 seconds. It\u2019s reported that only 150-300 vehicles were ever built, most of them on special request.
