Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund could learn a thing or two from \u2018scruffy\u2019 players like Liverpool\u2019s Darwin Nunez, according to Jamie Carragher.<\/p>\n

It emerged on Monday that several United players are reportedly reluctant to pass the ball to Hojlund after the \u00a372m summer signing hit another goal drought.<\/p>\n

It took Hojlund 15 games to register his first Premier League goal, which came in the 3-2 victory over Aston Villa on Boxing Day.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old enjoyed a subsequent purple patch but the goals have once again dried up.<\/p>\n

Some have blamed a lack of service from his teammates with Hojlund only receiving the ball 14 times in Sunday\u2019s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Carragher, though, has told Hojlund to take notes from Liverpool star Nunez as well as Chelsea\u2019s Nicolas Jackson.<\/p>\n

\u2018He (Hojlund) doesn\u2019t get enough shots in the game,\u2019 Carragher told Sky Sports. \u2018I know you can go back to the fact they don\u2019t create, they\u2019re a little bit selfish. <\/p>\n

\u2018I get all that but sometimes a striker can\u2019t just rely on service. You\u2019ve got to do things yourself.<\/p>\n

\u2018I actually can picture Nunez and Jackson doing something on their own, almost a bit mad, scruffy, but a burst of pace in behind, knocking a defender out the way. I don\u2019t really see that physicality from Hojlund.\u2019<\/p>\n

Fellow pundit Gary Neville disagreed with that stance as he added: \u2018I think he\u2019s physical, I think he\u2019s got a mentality, he\u2019s a tough kid. <\/p>\n

\u2018I think he\u2019s playing in a struggling team, in a difficult environment. He\u2019s not the problem at Manchester United, he\u2019s someone to persevere with. <\/p>\n

\u2018If I was playing at Manchester United and he came into the squad 15-20 years ago, I\u2019d think there\u2019s something to work with there. Those attributes, that sort of running power.\u2019<\/p>\n

Quizzed if United needed to sign a new striker at the end of the season, Neville said: \u2018That\u2019s the problem for Manchester United. <\/p>\n

\u2018Every player that has signed there in the last ten years has struggled and for young players it\u2019s difficult, it\u2019s really difficult. <\/p>\n

\u2018I hope they can sign another striker in the summer to support him, to be a partner for him, to mentor him, so he can learn off.\u2019<\/p>\n

Carragher, though, does not see things the same way and feels that bringing in a new striker would \u2018kill\u2019 Hojlund.<\/p>\n
