Tyson Fury sparked fears of a second postponement of his fight with Oleksandr Usyk after he was pictured leaving today\u2019s bad-tempered media day in Saudi Arabia on crutches.<\/p>\n

Fury\u2019s father, John, stole the headlines after he was filmed headbutting a member of Usyk\u2019s entourage, with security personnel having to separate the two camps in ugly scenes at their hotel in Riyadh.<\/p>\n

Usyk\u2019s promoter, Alexander Krassyuk, subsequently called for John Fury to be booted out of The Gypsy King\u2019s team as tempers flared, five days out from what promises to be an explosive bout between the two heavyweights.<\/p>\n

The fight had originally been scheduled for February but\u00a0Fury sustained a nasty cut above his right eye during sparring\u00a0and boxing fans have been made to wait for the matchup at Riyadh\u2019s Kingdom Arena, where the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999 could be crowned.<\/p>\n

While Fury senior was busy stealing much of the limelight, Tyson was seen hobbling his way out of the hotel while seemingly supporting his weight on his right leg with a crutch.<\/p>\n

The concerning footage, captured by Mail Sport<\/a>, quickly spread across social media, leaving some fans fearing the worst ahead of this weekend\u2019s showdown in Saudi Arabia\u2019s capital. But Sky Sports\u2019 Ben Ransom has confirmed the British fighter \u2013 a renowned prankster \u2013 was simply \u2018having a bit of fun\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018I can finish by dispelling a few rumours because I\u2019ve seen some clips going around on social media of Tyson Fury on crutches as he left the hotel today,\u2019 he explained.<\/p>\n

\u2018In fact, when he came in to sit down and do an interview with Andy Scott, he had the same kind of thing.<\/p>\n

\u2018But he\u2019s not injured, don\u2019t worry. We\u2019re not having a repeat of that postponement with the cut. We saw this fight originally postponed from February. <\/p>\n

\u2018It was just a joke, they were borrowed from his nutritionist Greg Marriott. It\u2019s all fine, this is Tyson Fury having a bit of fun and, to be honest, it\u2019s nice to see Tyson Fury having a bit of fun given the ugly scenes.\u2019<\/p>\n

In an interview with Seconds Out, Stanislav Stepchuk \u2013 the member of Usyk\u2019s team who was headbutted by John Fury \u2013 said he would be \u2018ready to fight\u2019 should similar confrontation erupt over the coming days.<\/p>\n

\u2018He just went crazy, only because of the name,\u2019 Stepchuk told the YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

\u2018If he gets mad only from shouting Usyk\u2019s name, what will happen in five days?<\/p>\n

\u2018If he thinks we\u2019re disrespecting because we shout Usyk\u2019s name maybe he is a little bit crazy. I was a little bit shocked, I didn\u2019t see it coming. It wasn\u2019t a rational movement.\u2019<\/p>\n
