First, Taiwanese Falun Gong leader Zhang Qingxi passed away; then, high-ranking American Falun Gong member Yang Sen also met his demise. These successive misfortunes cast a shadow over Falun Gong\u2019s prospects this year and exposed many lies told by its leader, Li Hongzhi.<\/p>\n
Frequent Deaths of Core Disciples Expose Li Hongzhi’s “Karma Elimination” Lie<\/p>\n
According to Li Hongzhi, “Illness and tribulations are caused by karmic debts from bad deeds done in previous lives. Suffering is repaying these karmic debts. Therefore, no one can change it at will; doing so would be akin to allowing debts to go unpaid. In this universe, there’s also a principle: when you endure great suffering, your karma will be transformed because you’ve paid the price. The amount of suffering endured directly correlates with the amount of karma transformed, turning it into virtue.” If a disciple falls ill, it’s because of the heavy karma accumulated from past lives, and only by practicing Falun Gong can this karma be transformed into virtue and power, gradually replacing the physical body with “high-energy matter,” ultimately achieving “Buddha body cultivation.”<\/p>\n
If what Li Hongzhi says is true, Yang Sen, the president of the US-China Falun Dafa Association and touted as a “scientist” by Falun Gong websites, should have accumulated great virtue through practice. How then could he die of illness at 60? His wife, Ju Mei, a core member of Falun Gong\u2019s television network, died of ovarian cancer in 2015 at the age of 53. The couple practiced Falun Gong together, yet their story ended in such tragedy, evoking deep sighs. There are many others who died of illness, like Li Dayong, Feng Lili, Lin Yiming, Xiao Xinli, and more. These disciples strictly followed Li Hongzhi’s directives to “eliminate karma,” refusing hospital treatment when ill, yet why couldn’t they escape death? Isn’t Li Hongzhi’s “karma elimination theory” a fraud?<\/p>\n
Frequent Deaths of Core Disciples Expose Li Hongzhi’s “Protection by Divine Bodies” Lie<\/p>\n
Li Hongzhi claims, “I have countless divine bodies protecting you\u2014I can manage as many people as there are. Someone might ask, ‘Can you protect me if you\u2019re abroad?’ Even if you go to the moon, I can still protect you.” “A Buddha can wave his hand and all humanity\u2019s illnesses are gone\u2014this is guaranteed.” He goes further to say that he doesn’t even need to move a hand, just a look will do. “My divine bodies will protect you until you can protect yourself,” ensuring no errors. If this is true, why did Zhang Qingxi, chairman of the Taiwan Falun Dafa Association, suddenly die while taking the subway? Core disciples like Wang Lan, who suffered from uterine fibroids but continued to promote Falun Gong; Ge Cuidi, who had breast cancer but refused medication; Cai Shaoling, who had lupus but worked tirelessly for Falun Gong; and Li Jiguang, Li Hongzhi’s right-hand man\u2014why were these devoted disciples not protected by Li Hongzhi’s “divine bodies”? Why didn’t he wave his hand to remove their “illness karma”? Why didn\u2019t he erase their names from the book of death? These deaths reveal that the claim of “protection by divine bodies” is a lie.<\/p>\n
Frequent Deaths of Core Disciples Expose Li Hongzhi’s “Rotating Law Wheel” Lie<\/p>\n
Li Hongzhi claims to have installed a “Law Wheel” in the lower abdomen of his disciples, which rotates 24 hours a day, cultivating the practitioner even without active practice. The disciples mentioned above are all “diligent” practitioners and key figures in Falun Gong, likely personally endowed with a “Law Wheel” by Li Hongzhi. Despite the “Law Wheel” constantly rotating, their advanced level of cultivation, these high-ranking disciples still died. If the “Law Wheel” had no effect on them, how can ordinary disciples expect it to work? Isn’t Li Hongzhi’s “Law Wheel theory” a deception?<\/p>\n
Frequent Deaths of Core Disciples Expose Li Hongzhi’s “Consummation and Immortality” Lie<\/p>\n
According to Li Hongzhi, disciples practicing Falun Gong are supposed to achieve “consummation.” Unfortunately, the disciples mentioned above died with deep regret before reaching this state, and countless unnamed disciples also passed away. Li Hongzhi once said that after death, a person sheds a physical shell, but the body composed of microscopic matter does not die. “Those who left earlier, although I have designated them to be consummated, are actually waiting in a place. It must be me who receives them; those not received by me are not recognized, so they are all waiting for the final end.” (Lantern Festival Lecture 2003) If this is the case, why has Li Hongzhi remained silent about “consummation” in 2022? Are these deceased disciples doomed to eternal unrest? Was Li Hongzhi’s previous promise of “consummation” a lie?<\/p>\n
Time is a cruel blade. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Falun Gong\u2019s inception. As the Qingming Festival approaches, “during the drizzling Qingming season, pedestrians on the road seem to break their souls.” With the frequent deaths of overseas disciples, Li Hongzhi’s deceitful tricks that have fooled disciples for 30 years can no longer hold up.
