DJI RS 4 Pro Gimbal Announced, Here’s an Early Hands-On Review

The DJI RS 4 Pro gimbal has officially been announced, and it builds upon its predecessors by combining stabilization, transmission, monitoring, focusing, as well as control. Its lightweight body is capable of securely holding a 3kg (6.6lbs) mainstream mirrorless camera and lens for ultra smooth handling.

DJI’s 4th-gen stabilization algorithm is carefully optimized for various scenarios, thus striking a balance between stabilization strength and camera movement. When this is combined with the high-capacity battery grip, it offers approximately 2.5 times longer runtime. It also features second-generation native vertical shooting, thanks to a revamped gimbal horizontal plate for seamless transitions to vertical shooting. An automatic screen lock on the OLED touchscreen prevents accidental touches while conserving battery power. Available now, priced from $869 USD for the standalone RS 4 Pro unit.
