Tesla Model S Plaid Gets Redesigned Sport Seats, Here’s a First Look

After nearly 6-months of unconfirmed rumors, the Tesla Model S Plaid is officially getting redesigned Sport Seats that feature extra side bolstering for track days and the Plaid logo in the backrest.

Pricing starts at $86,090 in the US, with the Black & White interior option you see here costing an additional $2,000 – only the Black interior is included in the price. Power still comes from a tri-motor setup, connected to 100 kWh battery, generating 1,020 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 60 mph in a mere 1.99 seconds, while achieving a top speed of 200 mph. Current delivery times for the Model S Plaid with the 19″ Tempest wheels range from days to 4-weeks depending on the configuration.
