Auto Enthusiast Builds the World’s First Working Turbocharged LEGO Technic Engine

You’ve seen the 1:1 scale LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, now check out the world’s first working turbocharged LEGO Technic engine. This small V6 boasts an engine-sized gray box that acts as a turbocharger and most certainly sounds the part.
A traditional turbocharger spins exhaust gases, but this LEGO Technic versions uses a vacuum to pull air through the box to spin the turbine within. Since air isn’t going into the engine, the turbine spins a shaft to add theoretical horsepower to the engine made of interlocking bricks. On the bright side, you do hear the whistling and whining of a real-life turbocharger. However, you’ll have to build your own if interested, as LEGO has no plans on releasing a similar engine.
