Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Falkreath Unreal Engine 5 Remake
Leo Torres has given Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Falkreath a stunning Unreal Engine 5.3.2 remake. Some of the game engine’s features used include Nanite for the character models as well as the foliage, and hardware Lumen to take advantage of its global illumination abilities.

Everything you see here is running on an NVIDIA RTX 3090 graphics card and the demo itself uses a mix of third party models, along with custom assets modeled in Blender. Why does everything look so smooth? Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing (DLAA), an auto-encoder convolutional neural network to identify and fix temporal artifacts, was used for anti-aliasing.

Falkreath was honestly kind of difficult to adapt, not because it was overly complicated, but just because it lacked a particularly unique visual character or style to anchor to. In vanilla Skyrim, it was pretty much just known for the graveyard, and for looking really pretty… so kinda just ran with that, going for that woodsy, ‘village nestled in a pine forest vibe’,” said Torres.
