British Army Challenger 3 Tank
The British Army’s Challenger 3 tank is now its most lethal, after successfully completing a live firing test in northern Germany. It was developed by Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) and features a powered turret sporting enhanced front / side protection.



Modular armor consisting of External EPSOM and Internal Farnham armor ensures that the tank can safely travel anywhere. The turret boasts a new sensor suite that includes a Day and Night Commander’s Primary Sight, along with a Day and Night Gunner’s Primary Sight for independent scanning / targeting. The star of the show is the Rheinmetall’s L55A1 120mm smoothbore gun, which uses the same ammunition as other NATO tanks.
