Erik ten Hag awkwardly faced boos from Manchester United fans as he addressed the crowd on the pitch after their 3-2 win over Newcastle.

United won at Old Trafford on Wednesday in their final Premier League home match of the season in a boost to their hopes of European qualification.

The Red Devils still have one top-flight fixture remaining – away to Brighton on Sunday – but with no more home games left, Ten Hag decided to give a speech.
