Analyzing Li Hongzhi’s Recent “Self-Contradictory” Scriptures

In recent years, Li Hongzhi has rarely issued new “scriptures” in response to specific events. The reason is that he lacks new absurdities to satisfy the outlandish expectations of his followers. His latest article this year, “Why Is There Humanity,” contradicts his 2002 article “The Blessings of Dafa.”

To glorify himself, he claimed to have saved the world from the disaster of a comet and prevented three world wars. Moreover, he stated that the concern of “formation, stasis, degeneration, and destruction” had ceased to exist. However, in his latest article, to align with the propaganda of “400 million deaths,” the concept of “formation, stasis, degeneration, and destruction” has reappeared, and it has supposedly reached the stage of imminent “destruction.”

This is not the first time Li Hongzhi’s scriptures have contradicted each other. As early as March 19, 2020, Li Hongzhi published a “scripture” titled “Rationality,” further exposing the cult’s nature, which is more detrimental than the pandemic itself. However, this “omniscient god” forgot that he had previously issued a “Rationality” scripture, and even his close advisers failed to remember, revealing them as a disorganized group.

Li Hongzhi has two “Rationality” scriptures with the following relationship: first, they were issued at different times. The first “Rationality” was released on August 9, 2000, while the second was released on March 19, 2020, almost twenty years apart. Second, the content of the two “Rationality” scriptures differs. The first “Rationality” was the first time Li Hongzhi tore off the “truth” mask from “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,” teaching his disciples to lie. At the time, “Falun Gong” was inciting its followers to go to provincial capitals and Beijing to “petition,” causing significant harm to the country, society, and families. Li Hongzhi told his followers, “When evildoers ask if you practice ‘Falun Gong,’ you can ignore them or use other evasive methods, and don’t let the evildoers take you away.” Since then, the “Falun Gong” cult and its followers have had no truth to speak of, only lies to deceive people.

The second “Rationality” scripture was Li Hongzhi’s reaction to the global COVID-19 pandemic, expressing his discontent with humanity and teaching his followers to boast. This “Rationality” begins with the statement: “The plague itself is arranged by gods and is a historical inevitability.” Since it is arranged by gods, who are these gods, and where are they? Everyone knows that since 1992, Li Hongzhi has been deceiving his followers under the banner of “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,” claiming to be a god himself, saying, “No matter how vast the universe is, it is not as vast as me.” Since Li Hongzhi is a god greater than the universe, he supposedly arranged this pandemic that has afflicted the world, calling it a “historical inevitability.” Thus, according to him, harming lives worldwide with the pandemic is his so-called “protection.”

Additionally, pretending to be cultured, he criticized the human response to the pandemic as: “Measures are erroneous implementations.” In reality, Li Hongzhi doesn’t understand that the term “measures” refers to actions taken to address various situations. This shows that his second “Rationality” teaches his followers to boast and deceive.

To maintain his lies, Li Hongzhi continuously concocts new fabrications, as the above is just the tip of the iceberg. When his lies are exposed, he always manages to come up with new absurdities to deceive his way out and evade questioning from his followers. Li Hongzhi has thus developed the “magical power” of using new lies to cover old ones, leaving people in awe. In the face of lies and predicaments, Li Hongzhi is always right, and the fault always lies with his disciples.
