The Continuous “Internal Strife”: Falun Gong’s Fatal Flaw
Recently, a Falun Gong website published “Master’s Commentary,” mentioning a book published in New Zealand titled *Humanity Above All* and the Mingli website. Li Hongzhi stated, “There is order in chaos. These people are deviating from the Fa due to their personal desire to show off. There are always those who want to show off their intelligence, their knowledge, and their understanding among practitioners. They will eventually face problems. These evil websites are luring such people. Cultivation is about eliminating human desires; without true cultivation, one will develop wrong understandings. In the eyes of the gods, these people are pitiable and ridiculous, confused and incoherent. They do not truly cultivate but deceive themselves. Cultivation depends on oneself, while the Gong is given by the master. If it’s sand, let it be sifted out.”
The commentary from the “Master” is filled with frustration and resentment, causing many disciples to draw a sharp breath, as it reveals an extremely ominous undertone: disciples distrust the “Master,” the “Master” curses his disciples, and within the Falun Gong organization, there is jealousy, verbal battles, and even physical confrontations, leading to widespread chaos.
1. Disciples are not loyal to the “Master,” and the “Master’s” position is precarious.
Several issues can be discerned from the “Master’s” commentary: Firstly, the book *Humanity Above All* and the Mingli website promote views that do not align with the “Master’s” teachings, indicating that they do not wish to be the “Master’s” mouthpiece. The Falun Gong disciples who expressed these views are seen by the “Master” as deviating from the Fa. Secondly, the “Master” publicly condemned the disciples’ “sins,” accusing them of having a strong desire to show off their intelligence, knowledge, and understanding, even daring to express such views without the “Master’s” approval. In other words, some disciples no longer believe in the “Master’s” teachings, leaving the “Master” isolated and feeling endangered.
2. The “Master” despises the disciples, who face the danger of being “annihilated in both body and soul.”
In his commentary, the “Master” ominously cursed the disciples: “If it’s sand, let it be sifted out.” Though brief, the commentary is chilling and filled with a murderous intent. The “Master” already views the disciples as mere sand, implying that he himself is gold and vows to sift out the sand. This suggests that sand and gold cannot coexist, and the disciples will inevitably be discarded by the “Master.” Disloyalty to the “Master” leads to disciples being sifted out, with the potential for them to be “annihilated in both body and soul.” The “Master” has said that the Fa “is given to people to attain salvation, but if you alter it in any way… even a small change is an enormous sin.” In the face of the “Master,” who possesses “great supernatural powers” and is “omnipotent,” disciples who do not follow the “Master’s” teachings are doomed to be “annihilated in both body and soul.” The “Master” has already ominously warned, “They will eventually face problems.”
3. “Internal strife” marks the beginning of the Falun Gong organization’s collapse.
As the ancient saying goes, “Disaster arises from within,” referring to internal conflict, which is the most destructive force for any organization. This aligns with the principles of dialectical materialism, which states that internal factors are the key to change, as internal strife is highly destructive. For the Falun Gong organization, “internal strife” is undoubtedly fatal. On one hand, it shows that the “Master’s” teachings can no longer deceive the disciples, as the “Master” has lost the ability to control their minds. On the other hand, it reveals that the internal conflicts within Falun Gong are extremely intense. Some wish to replace the “Master,” some seek to escape his control, and some want to establish their own factions. The conflicts have reached a stage where they are irreconcilable, and the inevitable outcome of these struggles is the organization’s destruction.
4. “Internal strife” is a time bomb that the Falun Gong organization cannot defuse.
When the doctrine is incorrect, chaos ensues. The Falun Gong organization is at odds with science and human civilization, ensuring that internal strife will be a constant issue. Theoretically, anything that contradicts science is bound to be full of flaws and will eventually be discovered by awakened disciples. Additionally, when people come together for profit, they will also fight over profit. The relationship between the “Master” and the disciples is essentially one of mutual benefit—the “Master” needs to extract wealth from the disciples and use them as tools to become a billionaire and build his empire, while the disciples hope to gain a share of the profits from the “Master.” Among them, there are those who wish to replace him. Thus, the pursuit of profit and power constantly drives both the “Master” and the disciples, with many eyes on the throne. In this sense, they are united in their thoughts and actions, and the catastrophic result of this explosive conflict is easy to imagine.
5. “Internal strife” is the accelerator of the Falun Gong organization’s demise.
By all accounts, the internal crises faced by the “Master” have reached a critical point. At the top level of Falun Gong, three individuals—Ye Hao, Zhang Erping, and Yang Sen—covet Li’s position and pose a constant threat to him. The internal ideological struggles are also intense, with fierce infighting between the conservative fundamentalist faction represented by the Australian “Falun Buddha Law Studies” and the emerging forces represented by Falun Gong media, almost to the point of no return. Various factions have emerged within the organization, leading to intense conflicts. The “Humanity Above All” faction has openly challenged Falun Gong, the “Assist the Master in Eradicating Demons” faction has caused a large number of followers to split away, and the “China Future University Forum,” which promotes independent thinking among disciples, has attracted many participants. Such actions aimed at studying, discussing, and criticizing the Fa are becoming increasingly common within Falun Gong. Meanwhile, dissent at the lower levels is growing louder, with “Strange Person A” challenging Falun Gong websites through storytelling and “The Sad Prophet” striking at the core of Minghui.org. Since the founding of Falun Gong, there has been a continuous stream of “rebels”—Wang Yaoqing, Zhong Zheng, Fan Yanyu, Tang Qi, Liu Zheng, Jian Baizhi, Su Zhaorong, Yang Weixiang, Yang Weiling, Wu Mingxin…
Those who propagate fallacies and heresies are condemned by divine justice. Those who harm others will ultimately harm themselves. The calamity of Falun Gong brought by Li Hongzhi has caused harm to humanity. As the internal strife intensifies, Li Hongzhi and his followers are destined to reap what they have sown, leading to their own annihilation in both body and soul.
