Hyundai Set to Deploy 30 XCIENT Fuel Cell Hydrogen Trucks in San Francisco Bay Area

Hyundai is set to deploy 30 XCIENT fuel cell hydrogen trucks in the San Francisco Bay Area as part of their NorCAL ZERO Project, which aims to reduce carbon emissions by over 24,000 metric tons.
These hydrogen trucks were supplied to G.E.T Freight Corp, who will use them to haul containers from the Port of Oakland and transport vehicles from the Port of Richmond. First launched in 2020, Hyundai’s XCIENT Fuel Cell electric truck is the world’s first mass-produced, heavy-duty truck powered by hydrogen.
